nzcarnerd ◊ 2009-03-09 08:01	Not sure of the exact year but I guess early 1970s. As far as I know Ford Australia built their own Fairlane on a stretched Falcon frame from the late '60s but didn't do their own LTD until about 1973. They imported US Galaxies/LTDs until then. I presume this is one of these.

It was believed that Jack Muller was the one who shot Freeman as a result of a affair that Freeman was having with Lena Hurley; the wife of SP bookmaker and Freeman's associate; Michael Hurley who was in jail at the time. Jack Muller was Lena Hurley's father and was heard threaten to kill Freeman if didn't stay away from Lena. Mullers was shot and killed in the driveway of his home at Coogee, NSW six weeks after Freeman's attack. -- Last edit: 2016-11-21 15:29:29
