For Cadillac the Series is more part of the model name, so I guess that "Series 62" comes in front of "Sedanette". |

Cadillac Series 62 5 passenger Coupe of 1947.The term " Sedanet" was not used for Cadillacs but for the postwar fastback Buicks . |

I got the information from "Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946-1975". It uses the term "Sedanette" for both Cadillacs and Buicks. |

My guess is it's a 1946 "Series 62" coupe [95% sure], because of the black rubber stone guard on the leading edge of the front fender (in 1947 it was chrome-plated). BTW, "wrenchhead", the only reliable source for correct body style denominations is Cadillac's own "Master Parts Book" (MPL); there is no "Sedanet" or "Sedanette" mentioned in there for 1946 or 1947. |
