Isn't this rather a Japanese variant, not an actual AM General HMMWV? -- Last edit: 2009-02-27 00:32:08 |

Yes, I think it's a Toyota HMV. /vehicle_99400-Toyota-HMV-1993.html http://www66.tok2.com/home2/tankguy/jgsdf01/Kokidosya.html http://www66.tok2.com/home2/tankguy/jgsdf01/kokidosya/Kokidosya09.jpg |

Toyota once did a Humvee rip-off called the Mega Cruiser. There's only one on this site and it's from a cartoon. -- Last edit: 2009-02-27 00:47:16 |

Yes, a Toyota HMV. The name had escaped my mind. And China (what a surprise) also has their own Humvee variant, an unlicensed copy, of course ![]() |

In fact there are two different Chinese copies of the HMMWV, the Dongfeng EQ2050 (made under licence from AM General) and the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation SFQ2040 (not licenced). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRC_HMMWVs |
