From an earlier scene, an NYPD car:

Another New York taxi, appears after the NYPD car and before the car in the main image:

As taxiguy would say, the main car is a horrible attempt at a NYC taxi. It is a 1998 model and an old police car. The taxi in the bottom two images is a 1999 model with a replacement chrome grill.

And in the middle picture is a 2005+ Commercial Taxi Package LWB model and a 2005 Police Interceptor model of the NYPD. Maybe that one can get it's own page?

I reckon it would convince most people :D

Oh it would. Another funny thing I noticed is how the side door moulding (black) is too far below where it actually should be. It should be right below the taxi fare decal.

I remember seeing this movie, and noticing that this same exact car was used twice (on two occasions that were supposd to be different).

One thing they did do right on this car however, is paint the bumpers grey, which is correct for a NYC cab of this era. But as you said, the other details are clearly wrong, such as the font and placement of the "NYC TAXI" and medallion number, and of course the lower stripe (which is quite strange, why in the world would they move it down 4 inches??). Also is it just me or is it missing it's chrome bumper trim?

The chrome trim is there, it's just been painted over.

G-MANN, out of curiosity, will you be giving the NYPD car its own page after all?

Um, I'm not sure myself, I'll see what others think (antp especially), if that's alright.

I think it's ok as long as my Custom Cruiser get's listed
Becuase let's be honest, they are visible about the same amount (the Olds even better I think) and it's much more rare than the oh-so-common CVPI. Seems only fair that they should both be listed or neither be listed.

Your Custom Cruiser was already added ;) I don't know why you're bringing it up here, it was already discussed over there. Besides, I only say it should be added because I can tell the specific year and VIN for that NYPD CV and its a newer model. If it was a common 1998 model, for example, then I really wouldn't care as much.
