1981-87 And before you ask ford guy, it's becuase 1979-80 models had different mirrors and 1988+ models had flush bumpers -- Last edit: 2009-02-19 23:56:28 |

Personally, the front end (headlight area) looks a little round, indicating a 1998-1991 model. But that's just me. |

I thought that too at first, but look at the rear bumper, it wraps around. The 1988-91 models had flush bumpers that didn't wrap around, so it has to be somewhere in 1981-87 |

Oops Yes, i'm sure that's just you ( ) |

Oh, it appears only the sedan models got flush bumpers in the rear, and the wagons kept the old wrap around ones: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2b/Ford-LTD-wagon.jpg So it probably is a 1988-91 model after all... |

My mistake. 1988-1991 And thanks for reminding me about the side mirrors taxiguy, I always seem to forget about that -- Last edit: 2009-02-20 00:33:34 |

Ah, I just noticed another detail. It has vent windows, so it's specifically a 1988-89 model |

Just a question: Weren't there 1988-1989 models that came without the vent windows also? |

Yes, but there were no 1990-91 models that had them, so it's a 1988-89 model. |

Got it, thanks |
