That's a 1994 model, not 2000 |

It's probably 2000 by plate. |

If so, it would be one of the last pre-restlyng A8 D2 model (launched in 1994) |

eeeh, it's better, if you never trust plates, visible in a movie. |

Usually we trust plates if there is no evidence that the plate is fake. (e.g. some clue to identify the car more accurately) -- Last edit: 2009-02-14 21:22:38 |

I don't do that. With the help of my plate-collector-friends (I'm linking pics with interesting plates into our forum), I've found out, that in German movies between 80 and 90% of the visible license-plates are fakes. The chance to see real plates, you only have with backgroud-cars and in documentation-reportages. |

Well in UK movies we often find real plates, not only on background cars... |

It's a shame that the only Spanish site that would give us more details about the car such as the brand and the model changed it's method, now you're only able to check it if you have the ID card of the owner of the vehicle or something like that, so the only thing we can use is "limix matrículas" a small software that gives you the registration date but not the model of the car. |

Yes, I've seen that several times her. In Dutch movies, too. Strange, that it's so different, compared with German films. In US-movies some of us had found also a plenty of faked plates. |
