I am curious about a 1937 Rolls Royce Phantom III, Landaulet that appeared in a movie entitled “The Razor’s Edge”, starring Bill Murray. The plot was something to the effect that he was searching various places throughout the world to discover the meaning of life. The scene was in Tibet, where the Rolls, yellow in color appeared.

The reason for my curiosity, is that I worked on this vehicle for a friend of mine that had previously been the owner. He had sold it to Warner Brothers Studios, to the best of my knowledge. I have often wondered if the car still exists, and if anyone knows where, as it was a very unique auto. My limited resources for research revealed that it was one of seven produced, with only four still in existence.

Hello Greg, if this car was a 4-light landaulette, it may be #3CP110 which has been in France since the 1960s. It was last known in Paris in 1997 and I think she's still there. If you e-mail me at blaize2530@orange.fr I'll send you photos. Some scenes were shot in Paris, so it fits.
