Clearly from the 1970's. Two reasons for this; 1)The cowl insignia. 2)The amber safety lights above the windshield. -- Last edit: 2008-12-09 06:12:39 |

An International Harvester Loadstar with a Thomas body. This is a 1972 model, 1972 was the first year for the square shaped International badge on the side of the hood (pre '72 had fancy script writing) and 1972 was also the last year for the marker lights on the roof, no increased headroom over the driver's area, and "set in" front windshield for the Thomas Saf-T-Liner conventional school bus body. Also, the amber warning lights are retrofitted onto this bus (notice how the lights "stick out" from the rest of the bus, this was a kit that available to convert the 4 ways to 8 ways.) |
