Yes, it was the 600 that motorized Italy, it was the best selling car since 1956 to 1963 (the latter was its best year), whereas the 500 was the best seller since 1964 to 1971 :) my father's first car in late 70s was a battered 1963 600 D.
NA219441 on main should be a 1962 plate.

The location in fourth and fifth thumb is the bridge on river Garigliano in the town of Sessa Aurunca and towards the town of Minturno (some 50 kms from where I live), and it's also a border between the regions of Lazio and Campania. Given the plot of the movie, I guess they're going at Minturno's war cemetery, which is very close to that location.
