where are the rest of the buses from this race!I notices an ex Blackburn Optare Metrorider, an ex Greater Manchester Leyland Olympian and a former Bath Bus Company (BBC!) Leyland DAB Bendibus driven by Richard Hammond there was also another rear engined left hand drive bendibus. The idea was that they were having a race to show Boris Johnston which bus was best, ie fastest, for use in london. The Dennis Dart won.

It’s actually sister bus K709KGU, also registered in November 1992 but weirdly the tax expired in February 2011, about 2 and a half years after the Top Gear Bus Race. Can’t imagine it was actually put back on the road so not sure what’s up with that.
