where are the rest of the buses from this race!I notices an ex Blackburn Optare Metrorider, an ex Greater Manchester Leyland Olympian and a former Bath Bus Company (BBC!) Leyland DAB Bendibus driven by Richard Hammond there was also another rear engined left hand drive bendibus. The idea was that they were having a race to show Boris Johnston which bus was best, ie fastest, for use in london. The Dennis Dart won. |

It’s actually sister bus K709KGU, also registered in November 1992 but weirdly the tax expired in February 2011, about 2 and a half years after the Top Gear Bus Race. Can’t imagine it was actually put back on the road so not sure what’s up with that. |
