Ingo ◊ 2008-11-16 23:12	The legendary crossing Friedrichstraße/Kochstraße in (West)Berlin-Kreuzberg. On the left the more legendary "Checkpoint Charlie", the crossing point to East-Berlin (until only November 1989 only allowed for foreigners. Closed for Germans, West-Germans, West-Berliner and -surely- GDR-citizens). If you wanted to visit East-Berlin with friends from abroad, you had to seperate, take different border-points and meet in the East again.
