I haven't researched this one but it looks like one of the Clegg-designed 12hp models which ran from about 1912 through to after WW1 - this one looks to be about 1914. |

At least in 1913 the 12 hp was the smaller of Rovers two models: Link to "www.bodley.ox.ac.uk" But looking at the body I think it's immediately post-WWI. It wasn't until 1924 when the 12 hp grew up and became 14. They probably needed a bit larger engine,as the Jack Sangster designed unorthodox eight had joined the range. -- Last edit: 2010-09-24 16:08:01 |
