It is a Renault Dauphine, made by Willys Overland do Brasil, between 1959 and 1963. Then replaced by Renault Gordini, 40 HP and 4 gears ahead (62-68). I wrote it correctly, but administrator refused and classified as unknown.. All Dauphines had the same front bumper; in 1959 they had blinkers in column C, like in France, but in 1960, they were replaced by those separate Jeep lights, for position and blinker. Headlamps were since then sealed-beams and so no position lights were anymore inside headlamps. Differences to Gordini were badges, wheels (8 holes for brake ventilation in Gordini), side strip (chromed) as well plate light (painted in Dauphine and chromed in Gordini) -- Last edit: 2025-06-27 02:01:54 |
