New one for me. "The Curlew was a deluxe version of the Jowett Kestrel. It had a slightly better trim level and twin horns. I think 902 were produced in 1935 and 1 special edition made in 36. There's also 2 Curlews made and registered in 34 which don't seem to have mentions in later publications. They have the standard 7hp engine and a 4 speed gearbox, that is also fitted with a centrifugal clutch and a free wheel device that acts like an automatic. Not sure how many are left, but there are not that many on the register. Good luck." |
