 Is the year and engine from the plate?
It has beak hood and '240' badge from 1983 but last year for these tail lights were 1982.

Can't be 1982 and 240 at the same time.

 I've never seen these as 2.4 D, rather as D6

 Indeed, never called 2.4 D. They had a "244 GL D6"-badge between 1979-1982 and "DIESEL"-badge between 1983-1985. Never "240 D6" either, it's something home made.
