After he has nearly ran over kids crossing the street to get to their elementary school, the cab didn't avoid the semi, and it crashed into it, killing instantly the son of this mobster (portrayed by KISS leading man, the legenedary Gene Simmons. Consequences of his death followed shortly after for NYPD cops and some of their families...
