T-34 I think its a prop because the turret looks too big. It could be an American tank such as M-24? Filmed in Austria... I know Europe used alot of ex US WWII vehicles in the 50s and 60s. -- Last edit: 2008-10-18 05:09:32 |

T34/85...a T34 tank with the larger 85mm gun turret as opposed to the more streamlined early 76mm turret...when the movie was made, the T34 was in the Austrian Armys inventory as one of their then "Current" in service main battle tanks, so its not a prop or based on anything else..its on loan from the Austrian military!!. -- Last edit: 2008-10-18 16:48:16 |
