The historic scene where we first saw this historic Car minor spoiler fore Fringe season 1 episode 2 Walther sais Wonder full news i remember where i parked my Car, Peter sais Realy you remember where you parked your Car 17 years ago, Walter sais I cant that it is still here look at it, Peter sais this is you car ofcorse it is so waht you gott cars stuffed with papers all over town Walter sais just cars you have no ides where i have hidden things Peter after Walter has handet hin a jar with a human hand in it that was on the back seat, Friend of yours Walter sais uh i certenly hope not comone joy we have to gett these files back to the Lab Peter sais you might be able to reanimate dead Guinea Pigs there or what ever but i can bring mechanical back from the dead and pops the Hood, and Man i love the look of that car it shoud have 3 stars maybe even 4 becose it was used in Episode 7 8 12 but you can onely see interior shots in a small driving sequence and in episode 20 it was used again in Season 2 Episode 6 but it is onely seen in a few seconds but in episode 7 it is muchmore used and you can aldso see that it has driven 765487 Miles or Kilometers WARNING SPOILER !!! but sadley some idiot desidet to crash it to a telephone pole but they did not show the crash so i gues tha they did not crash the car atleast ther is still some respect left fore classic cars but you still see the car with a messed upp front end but the damage does not look so bad one thing is sure this baby still has allot of fight left i realy hope and wish that it il apere in more episodes but i wonder why the main charecters used a black Volvo in episode 8 and then the Oldsmobile later on in the episode maybe ther were machanical problems with the Olds becose it is a pretty old car -- Last edit: 2009-11-21 18:56:19 |

This Vista Cruiser is a 1972 model, as the two photos of the grill clearly indicate. The "egg crate" grill and black headlight bezels were offered in 1972 only. |

We really never see the car hit the pole. I think the telephone poll hit was a hoax thankfully even though it appears with a bent hood in the background afterwards. I don't know if they put a junk hood on the car just to make it looked wrecked or computer generated a damaged hood in the background. It shows up in several episodes thereafter all the way to the fifth and final season set in 2036 where the car is possibly painted to look older or dirtier. It appears in at least two episodes in season 5 but there are concerns. The beauty rings are removed and the bolt on center caps are painted black along with the rest of the wheels. But wheels can be replaced. The worst thing I notice is the right front fender emblems are removed. I fear they may have broken them off. I'm not sure what they sprayed on the car to make it look older and dirtier for the year 2036 but I hope it washes off. Lots of damage to the car for it only to appear fleetingly in two episodes of the final season set in 2036. -- Last edit: 2015-01-07 15:10:37 |
