I would say it's a Rootes car belonging to the Arrow family of models - an Hillman Hunter? |

script badge to bonnet gives it away as Hillman Hunter. |

Main shot a 1970+ Avenger GL, thumb is Hunter. |

Are you sure ? Even the main picture's C-pillar looks to me a Hunter one. |

I was ... but agree Hunter now. Avenger never had these door handles. March 72 facelift slim bonnet badge and colour, so new for filming. Maybe enough chrome for a Super. |

I just watched the film after having written the previous message. The blue car is a Hunter. There is only an Avenger, the tan one already listed. |

^ not Mk2 Cortina? The wipers should rest on the right-hand side on an Arrow, on that one they appear to rest on the left-hand side. Furthermore, the outer bonnet recesses go all the way to the front end as on a Cortina, on an Arrow they fade mid-way down. |

Oooops - agree Cortina. Also the roof shape's wrong for Arrow. Haven't had my daily Marmite yet ... |
