The Coupe on the left is a 1965 Pontiac. The export specialists can decide if Catalina or Laurentian. |

The car in the other lane is a 1956 Plymouth... and I see you already have that; /vehicle_18134-Plymouth-Plaza-1956.html -- Last edit: 2008-10-02 22:28:33 |

I see this one has a rear fender cover. Since Laurentians are top of the line in Canada, and Catalinas are genreally middle-rate, wouldn't this be the Laurentian? |

Parisienne is considered top of the line in Canada market comparable to Bonneville in USA market. So Laurentian is considered mid-level trim. It could be just Pontiac Catalina since US military personnel usually bring their cars in Thailand and sometimes they were sold locally in Thailand market... -- Last edit: 2008-10-04 02:35:55 |

Rear fender skirts were fairly rare on Catalinas and I think this car has Bonneville rocker trim. -- Last edit: 2008-10-04 03:48:37 |

Can anybody make it out at /vehicle_18134-Plymouth-Plaza-1956.html at the left side? |

This car is a Bonneville - rocker mouldings, badge on the rear of the front fender and fender skirts. The tail end of the car can be seen in the Ford Zodiac picture in the same movie. -- Last edit: 2010-07-04 10:03:39 |

As nzcarnerd says, the Ford Zodiac picture shows the rear fender, and the printed out "B O N N E V I L L E" is barely legible. Catalina has its name plate in SCRIPT here. Also, there is a scene from the POV of the Hornet's windshield as it chases the Matador through traffic. It is around the point where the screen capture of the 1968 Toyota Crown is taken, and the Bonneville is braking ahead of these cars. It has the wide width Bonneville taillamps, and not the smaller Catalina taillamps. |
