Hi-Lift Chaseside lacking imagination seemed to have just called these 'Shovels' in later years but earlier ones called Hi-Lift so think we should stick with this. A late one based on the Fordson Major E1A diesel introduced late 51. Chaseside were a bit late in moving to Hydraulics probably because the rope shovels sold well until....... Their finance director a Mr Frank Weatherill saw the future and left to form Weatherills making hydraulic loaders, very succesfully. -- Last edit: 2024-11-15 02:02:55 |
