Whats that doing there? Looks very like British Sunbeam-Talbot. This is a picture of a 1949 Sunbeam-Talbot 80/90 convertible. Sedan/saloon would have been more common. -- Last edit: 2006-05-05 13:51:08 |

As it was part of the Rootes Group there could possibly be a Singer version as well, but I don't remember it. Some more information here...an Australian website. http://www.sunbeam.org.au/models/90.htm Looking at the height of the headlamps it appears to be MkI from 1948-1950, later cars would have been noticably higher. Also the cars roof is just visible - same colour as the front so almost certainly a 4-door sedan/saloon. Well worth listing I think. the two tone car is an fb holden sedan the ek holden didnt have the two tone at the back as its chrome strip ran down the whole side of the car |
