It appears from the rear of the car there is not trim designation (i.e. LS, LT, etc). That would make this exactly a 2005 base model since after that year the base model was renamed LS. Anyway, what are they doing with the car? |

The myth was that if you interleave two phonebooks, they become impossible to pull apart. They had already tried to pull them apart using manpower (about a dozen people) and failed, so they upgraded to car power. This Cobalt and the Focus also listed were pressganged into service as phonebook-pull-aparters and failed (the thumbnails). Both cars were described as being rentals, and before the experiment they did some donuts and aggressive maneuvers in the dust just for fun, which is what you see in the main image. They eventually succeeded in pulling the phonebooks apart using a couple of tanks. |

It has the 2005-2007 head lamps. So 2008-2009 are negated. 2007-2010 have amber bulbs instead of an entire amber housing. The amber piece between the head lamp and turn signal seems to stay 2005-2010. It is just the turn signal bulb housing that changes. |
