No, this is an early [W 115]. It doesn't have double bumpers of the W 114, but an aluminium strip beneath the bumper. Compare: W 114: Link to "images.collectingcars.com" W 115: Link to "de.wikipedia.org" It also has the radiator grille with small holes only fitted on early versions (1968-70) of the 200, 200 D, 220 and 220 D. |

230 W114 did not have the double bumpers. By the chrome under the bumper I think this could a 230 W114. -- Last edit: 2024-08-11 11:24:02 |

You're quite correct about that the 230 was a W114, but I wrote the comment because someone had called it a W114. Probably because he/she saw the double bumpers. However, the 230 had a different grille with larger 'holes'. The thin aluminium strip was present on all versions without the double bumpers.
