What makes you believe it is a GTO? It has a chrome front bumper and wheel covers instead of body colour bumper and rallye wheels, hence it is a Tempest LeMans. The year is hard to tell, but the wheelcovers indicate it is a 1968. -- Last edit: 2006-01-20 02:46:03 |

[quote]What makes you believe it is a GTO? Considering it has Exactly the same shape/bodyshell ...Why do you think I thought it was a GTO.? |

You just have to be more careful not to jump to conclusions, stronghold. GM notoriously made several different models, while still using the same bodyshell. You are excused.:) |

It's a '69. '68 had the vent quarter windows on the front doors. They were dropped for 69. This car doesn't have them. Also, you can tell it's not a GTO. GTO's had the GTO badge on the quarter panels just behind the front wheel. Ths one does not have them. -- Last edit: 2010-05-26 16:34:05 |

Based on the taillights in the first thumbnail, this is a 1968. |

Tempest because the name badge is on the front fender. LeMans had it on the rear fender. |
