That's how they all came to Europe after 1982, by which time I believe they were branded Pininfarina. |

I believe this is rather a 1978-81 Fiat Spider 2000, by the Fiat logo and square plate ![]() |

That and the mirrors on the doors and not the A-pillar |

Again, this is not US spec, this is how we got them: Link to "www.histoquariat.de" |

That one looks US Spec. It's not a Pininfarina version, and I didn't think they sold Spiders in Europe after the mid-1970s until the Paninfarina version. |

Yes, the 124 Spider wasn’t officially offered between 1975 and 1981, it didn’t appear in magazines’ price lists (at least in Italy, possibly in Germany it appeared), even if it was actually sold on order and by some authorized dealers (and sometimes advertised). Technically indeed those examples were US-specs, as seen in these tables there were no Euro specs 124 Spiders in that period: https://www.fiat124spider.it/tabellaMotoriEuropa.asp https://www.fiat124spider.it/tabellaMotoriAmerica.asp After 1982, cars destined to European markets (and officially sold with Pininfarina branding) had bumpers like US models but unsprung, no side markers, no rear bench and km/h instrument clusters, according to Italian Wikipedia. Probably on this one side markers were removed ![]() |
