The Turbo had few spokes for enough ventilation at speed https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1987_Volvo_740_Turbo_US.jpg , with some variations depending on the year of manufacture. Also the GLT (sporty version without a Turbo) had similar black chrome and alloys. I don't know what to believe.
