That name makes it 'made for GB'.

More likely for Ireland. At that time quite a lot of Kadetts were imported privately from the Republic, but I'm fairly sure Kadetts weren't officially imported into the UK by then.

Opel Kadett D was actually sold initially in the UK from late 1979 (in fact it was released before the Vauxhall Astra equivalent about six months later in April 1980). The Opel brand was also the only one to have the base Kadett saloon (not hatch) with round headlights, there was no Vauxhall Astra base saloon at the time. In the UK the Chevette was sold as the base Vauxhall model.

Sales of the Opel Kadett D only lasted for a few years (2 years I guess) before Opel dealers were combined to become the UK's Vauxhall-Opel dealers with the introduction of the Vauxhall Cavalier MkII. The 1982 model year Opel Ascona C was not sold in the UK. From then onwards only the Opel Manta and Opel Monza were sold outside of the otherwise all 'Vauxhall' range of models.

So back to 'made for GB', since elsewhere these models were sold as Caravan, not as Estate.
