Either incorrect car or 2 different ones. Two-piece windshield (1950) but with clearly 1951 taillamp lenses. |

After further inspection, year should be changed to 1951. Obvious '51 taillamps and I now notice the filler panel behind the front bumper, which the '51 had but the '50 lacked. (I think it's just the glass curveture that makes it seem like the W/S is 2-piece) Keep as Champion, as I can see no indication of a V-8 trunk lid emblem. Also, rubber gravel guards rules out State Commanders. (Length of both non-Land Cruiser Commanders and Champions was the same in '51, unlike '50) Deluxe as car appears to have ss rocker panel trim. This car also has incorrect wheel covers, which appear to be '53-'55 units. -- Last edit: 2011-07-21 22:44:01 |
