IHC 1750 Loadstar is modelname? |

IHC was the old name of the company that made International Harvester trucks, after a search on Google it seems that the "1750 Loadstar" is most of the time under the "International" make. |

What company does BP stand for? It's not the gas company either because on the trucks it says "BP Trucking & Shipping." |

Antp: All the paperwork I get daily {at work}still has International Harvester on it. I believe they use "International" as some sort of abbreviation. |

And is it about trucks or farming vehicles? Because according to Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navistar |

I did some investigation last night... the following are all trademarks or registered names. CASE IH LOGO ® IH ® IH LOGO ® IH-HARVESTER ® IH-INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER ® INTERNATIONAL-HARVESTER ® These are registered or common law trademarks, service marks, and/or trade dress [belonging to] CNH Global N.V. So therefore since 1986 Navistar can only use these with the agreement of CNH (Case-New Holland) they are no longer the owners of the INTERNATIONAL-HARVESTER brand. Notice however they could use 'INTERNATIONAL-HARVESTER TRUCKS', 'IHC' or something similar - quite often corporations will find slightly different wordings. Its quite possible that since CNH are not in the truck manufacturing business they could have an agreement with Navistar to use 'International-Harvester' in some form or for some purposes. They may have common business interests or co-operation agreements. Since servicing trucks, even those built before 1986, will be profitable business, Navistar may find it necessary to continue to refer to 'International-Harvester' in documentation. This is not at all uncommon in business. However for the actual trucks built after 1986 they could prefer to just use 'International' as the truck brand. -- Last edit: 2006-05-09 13:15:17 |

I'm just guessing, but it may be a 1974 model. |

1962-77, here with the 1968+ cab (no wrap-around windshield, no bulge on the door). The vertical exhaust pipe makes it a Diesel powered truck, so, for the 1968+ models, either a 2050A or a 2070A (but no car's thumbnail identify the exact model for us ). -- Last edit: 2019-11-29 08:00:15 |
