I could be totally wrong on this, but I seem to have noticed the postwar Olys have a noticeably larger logo ahead of the hood vents (like on this one) which appears to be metal, whereas prewar models have a more delicate, smaller badge against some sort of indicator: 38: https://www.alt-opel.eu/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/640__0021.jpg 47: Link to "lh3.googleusercontent.com" Also note the front slant of the badge on the postwar.
