Yes, and I base this on the fact that the Moskvitch 400/420 never had any badge at front of the bonnet side vents.

I could be totally wrong on this, but I seem to have noticed the postwar Olys have a noticeably larger logo ahead of the hood vents (like on this one) which appears to be metal, whereas prewar models have a more delicate, smaller badge against some sort of indicator:

Also note the front slant of the badge on the postwar.

It seems to be about the only thing that really sets them apart.
