yes it has a Ward body American Transportaion Corporation (AmTran) name not used until 1993 so it's Ward. -- Last edit: 2008-08-11 01:22:21 |

"COACHETTE Cy (Dallas, T.), began selling small buses in 1954. The buses were built on FORD chassis and accomodated 21 or 31 passengers. WARD BODY Cy (Austin, T.) built the bodies until 1967, and then AMERICAN BODY Cy (Gd Prairie, T.) built them until COACHETTE Cy discontinued selling buses" (in "City Transit Buses in the 20th Century", publ. Iconographix) |

Why " " ? Btw I was including "Cy" in my search I did not notice it was for "company" By searching Ward Coachette indeed I find things, they mention it there for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IC_Corporation To keep the same logic of listing we should list that as Ford with Ward Coachette as extra info - I really should add a field for body maker & model. -- Last edit: 2008-08-11 23:06:12 |

It just struck me that we are living in a world where Google is the all-knowing source for everything imaginable. It is as if Google is a "god" of sorts and is just a giant database that is a tool for unraveling the mysteries of the world. I found your comment funny just because how you said "there is nothing on Google about that" it sonded like "it is not on Google, so it is obviously not true. Google knows all" |

No, but it is strange to not find something on Google if it exists |
