In fact you can even tell this is a V-8, since only the V-8 models carried bright wheel opening, drip rail and full taillamp housing trim in 1959. (There were no domestic sixes in '60 and '61, so all of them carried this trim.) Grille emblem is misplaced and not the correct emblem. It should be at the bottom of the grille toward the right (as you face the front) and should be a Hawk style emblem, not a Studebaker crest. |
