I would have said Freightliner, except all the examples we have have a different grille and their wipers are all mounted at the bottom of the windshield: /vehicles_make-Freightliner_model-Step+Van.html |

Found a matching example being sold as a "2011 Freightliner MT-55" with a Chevrolet steering wheel: Link to "www.comvoy.com" - But when I plug the VIN they list into VehicleHistory the pictures that come up show a completely different body. Here's another match being sold as a "2000 International Utilimaster": https://jingletruck.com/international-7-3-turbo-36011 And here's a "1990 Chevrolet C70" with a Chevrolet steering wheel but no indication who built the body: Link to "www.auctiontime.co.uk" (the license plate comes up as a 1990 Chevrolet "Forward Control 6000 chassis") But finally we have a "1989 Chevrolet PS6500" former Snap-On tools truck where the listing photos include a clear shot of a tag reading "Vehicle manufactured by Union City Body Company": https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1989ChevroletPS6500ToolTruck And this Flickr photographer also pegs it as the work of UCBC: https://www.flickr.com/photos/10047629@N04/14192760529 So I'm prepared to call this a UCBC, and we already have a matching one listed as such: /vehicle_470214-UCBC-Step-Van.html -- Last edit: 2023-12-30 21:39:01 |
