Is it possible that it could be badged as Roman Diesel? Using a Saviem cab ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-07-11 16:42:44 |

It's possible - IIRC both Hungary and Romania used to have small white number plates - but on balance it's more likely to be a Rába, seeing as it's a Hungarian series and the truck doesn't have a TIR plate. Pity the grille badge is invisible or missing. |

This is definitely Raba, because of the black horizontal bar on the front. |

The frontal grille seems to be from a RÁBA. But it's a little bit cloudy... I have a miniature model of it. ![]() An auction on ebay: Link to "cgi.ebay.at" And another one from a private collection: http://www.jp-paschke.de/Automodelle/08.jpg |

'FS' means Frontlenker Sattelzug? ![]() |

Sorry Mike, but this cabin was designed by Saviem (Blainville plant) and not MAN, but used by both MAN and Saviem ranges since 1969. The contract between MAN and Saviem planned a "swap" between engines made by MAN and cabin made by Saviem |

I think this is a Rába 838 because it's a 2 axle tractor. This one is owned by "Volán TEFU" as it shown on the wind deflector. |

Tractor with 2 axles was also to get as U-16.256 FS or 843... Any idea, were there any noticeable external differences? Ep. 1.01 shows rigid version. |
