When did US president visit London in late 70s, or maybe early 80s if the Jag is S3??? |

Gamer said 1982 on another page, I think it is a JHVxxxW plate, we've had an ex-Met SD1 with a JHV plate before: /vehicle_778283-Rover-2600-SD1-1981.html |

This footage is probably from Reagan's visit in 1982. His 1972 Continental limo is visible. |

JHV 243W & 245W (as the suggested links) are both June 81 2600s. |

The Jag was probably GYR 218W - a black Jan 81 XJ6 S3 4.2. |

Yeah, but he also visited the Royal Library in June 1984, and considering the 1985 date, it would seem much more likely that they would use that during production for a clip of the presidential limousine. Though as the Cadillac appears to be a Secret Service escort car and there still appears to be Dutch's Lincoln in the background, it would appear my initial assumption was correct (The White House only rolled out the new Preslim in early 1984) -- Last edit: 2023-10-02 13:33:08 |
