Could be as early as 1956 with no wing indicator lights and no quarterlights (vent windows). It's not super clear when/where these were first implemented but unless there's a rear view... |

Not a 64 B plate in a 63 series - even Mustangs can't pull off that trick - but 123 xxB plate, maybe xKB (Liverpool, 1st AKB combo was June 58) or xAB (Worcestershire, starting Feb 60 for AAB). Looks LHD, maybe a bit knackered (taped hood repair, possible early signs of rust worms in main on sill and rear arch, though thumb looks fine). |

Nothing to add other than these lights with the "divider" might be US market but can't find any definite proof. |

Plate is June 58+, Liverpool as suggested above. But withdrawing comments about it looking knackered - it's clean in thumbs - and also wondering if what I thought might be a taped-up hood tear is actually a small covering flap for when hood is down. |

1958 works. I've never seen a flap like that on this model but can't rule it out... |

Why is this made for GB though? |

Patch ? Suppose the hood would wear here when folded down , but not a great colour match ! ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-09-20 14:38:28 |
