Bumpers are 1960+, but the grille looks older.

Yes, an early "Schmalkühler", called in German (similar to "narrow grille"), so a 1954+ [W 120]

The 1959+-version was called "Breitkühler"

By the way: these names (both self-made words, not real ones from the dictionnary) "Schmalkühler" and "Breitkühler" were also used for the W111 and sometimes for the W114/115, too, due the fact, that the later versions they got larger grilles.
