Mercedes Benz 600 Pullmann (W100). Production began in 1965, with most styles built through 1972. Modest production continued to 1980, however. The model came in several variants: A 4-door sedan on a short wheelbase, similar to a modern S600 sedan in layout. A 4-door sedan on a short wheelbase but with a power window separating the front seats from the rear bench seat. A 4-door limousine on a longer wheelbase featuring two rear-facing seats and a rear bench seat. Most, but not all, had power windows. A 6-door limousine (seen here) on a long wheelbase chassis. This had two forward facing jump seats stationed at the middle two doors and a rear bench seat. A few of the limousines were made with a convertible top over the rear passenger compartment and were called landaulets. Production of this model ended a year early, in 1971. Two coupes were made, one of them as a gift for Dr. Uhlenhaut, the man that designed the car, when he retired. One funeral coach was made. This car, and the two coupes mentioned above, survive to the present day in the United States. |

This 6-door 600 was for hire in London for some time in the seventies and eighties. It also apprears in 'Who is killing the great chefs of Europe'. |

WYY 56F comes up on plate check sites as a grey Bentley 6230cc, Date of Liability 01 12 1980, Date of First Registration 19 12 1967. Presumably meant to be a T-series, but interesting that its cc is so close to a MB 600 (6329cc) ..... |

That looks like WYY 58F. Doesn't show up in DVLA, though. |

Please change year to 1968. According to the plate check site www.caranalytics.co.uk, WYY58F was registered on 14th of May 1968. |
