Isnt this a rare configuration for the GMT800 Trucks? i don't think I have ever seen an HD Extended cab with a short bed, I have seen 2500's with this option but never a 4x4. |

No, there are plenty of Extended Cab 2500HDs with the 6.5-ft 'standard' box, which is what we see here.
