No, The Marathon was the A12, The Cab was A11.

Notice how the front bumper stands out from the front of the car.
This would be a transitional '73 model. The bumpers were of the old type but were beefed up behind.
In '74, they went to the plain gray bar style. (And ruined the front end appearance, IMO.)

Because some day it was said that the model name of the A11 was Taxicab, it might be wrong...
What were correct naming of A11 & A12/Marathon ?

The factory used the names 'Taxicab' and 'Marathon' for sure in late 60s and through 70s. Sample.

From 1939 till 1982 all Checker used the Model A designation. From 1956-1958 A8 Drivermatic & A8A Drivermatic with and AMC engine. 1958-1961 A9 Taxicab & A10 Superba. 1962-1982 A11 Taxicab & A12 Marathon
