I would make this to be a 1966 Buick Gran Sport. Notice the fake ports behind the front wheel arch. |

This is a regular 1966 Buick Skylark convertible - either a V6 model 44367 (606 built) or a V8 model 44467 (6,129 built), they are visually identical. The fake ports behind the wheel arch are found on all '66 Skylarks. The GS model had GS emblems on the rear quarters, this car has 'Skylark'. -- Last edit: 2008-06-12 10:24:18 |

[quote=nzcarnerd]This is a regular 1966 Buick Skylark convertible. That's right. The car is actually listed as "made for Sweden" There's nothing in these shots that tells that! |

Headlights are easy to replace! And most cars from 1966 had theirs already replaced back in the nineties anyway! If it had amber flasher lenses (front or rear) that could mean it was made for Europe but that's not the case. Back in 1966, the main difference in american cars sold new in Europe was the speedometer that was graduated in KM/H. Newer cars have more differences like folding mirrors, relocated side markers (there were none on this 1966), rear fog lights and amber flasher lenses. Here's a picture of my '74 LeSabre, it wasn't made for Europe and it's never been there but it's original headlights were replaced with H4 headlights... |

Here is a picture on this car. The picture was taken in the 70s/80s. Found it on my friends Facebook. This car is no longer registrated in Sweden. |

This car is imported from Usa to Sweden in the 70s it has vin 44367H203804 that means it was a Skylark Convertible with V6 engine, only 608 built of this. This car is no longer registrated and is at a junkyard in Sweden. |
