Which one are you actually refering to? |

The one in the middle of the road, above the Vespa. The front one of the parked cars is a Ford Vedette, I don't know the other. |

Really? a Vedette? hmm ill create a page for it then. |

It's a 1953+ Vedette, with new grille and one-piece windscreen. (Both it and the Buick may be a bit small for Antoine's liking ... ) |

The Vedette was a Ford of France model until the acquisition of Ford's interests by Simca in November 1953, when it became a Simca model above the Aronde. You should not, therefore, treat Vedette as a make in its own right. |

I know, John ... I just wasn't going to type Ford all the time when I didn't need to |

Chris, fair comment, rubbish car!! Can you imagine the Ariane, with the Vedette body and the Aronde engine, slow or what. Sorry but I took the comment by carchasesfanatic to be a new page for a new make. |

I doubt very much if this is a 1938 Buick. It is very difficult to be sure just what it is. It appears to have its headlights in the front fenders which would suggest something from 1939 or later. I can't even be sure it is American. |

How about the "1938 Buick" being a 1936 to 1939 Renault Primaquatre, or even the Viva Grand Sport if the headlights are faired in? -- Last edit: 2008-06-12 12:52:18 |

I agree with John_from_Staffs: too little information present to identify this car. |
