Difficult to tell with the picture ratio being odd but I think these are both big series Packards. The front one about 1936-7 and the nearer one about 1940.

Both cars are Packards .The nearest one is a 1940 Packard of the lighter series ( eighteenth series model 1800 one ten or 1801 one twenty sedan built august 1939 to september 1940) , the front car is the 1936 Packard Twelve Sedan as identified elsewhere

Same shot (main pic) has been re-used in the 4th movie.

Weasel1984 wrote It is for the second one (more to the right). I guess something like this /vehicle_177364-Packard-Six-1600-1938.html

I think it's possibly the identical car, in spite of the time between the films. It seems to have the cockeyed grille and the strange coloured wheels.

Gag Halfrunt wrote The Mosfilm historic car fleet has a 1937 Packard - could this be it?

It's also entirely possible that Mosfilm has other cars not shown on its website. The main page is at http://eng.mosfilm.ru/fan/retro

Weasel1984 wrote It looks like mix of this one in the foreground and car behind it (for which the page is).

chris40 wrote The only possible one is /vehicle_178939-Packard-unknown-1940.html ... so now we have an argument about the year and model :) (which I'm not qualified to take part in).
