This is coach built by someone and is most probably more or less a one off. The free standing headlights should point towards something like 319/1, 329 or possibly 326, but the facia looks newer. Perhaps a 327 or a 328 https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/bmw/328/1936/762072 (a 328 interior with a similar looking windscreen, steering wheel and gauges). |

I'd say the wheels could help to find the answer, even with these aerodynamic covers. Could be early 30s 6-cyl. model with body built few years later... ![]() |

Oh, I just have been found this: https://autogen.pl/art-59-pojazdy-braci-ihle.html (in Polish). It's 1934 DKW-Ihle (based on F4 chassis, not F5 produced since 1935!), with BMW imitating it later! ![]() Owned by Tomasz Skrzeliński. -- Last edit: 2025-04-12 10:31:53 |

They cheat a bit with... 4-stroke engine sound. |

Coachwork by Gebrüder Ihle KG Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbau of Bruchsal, who later became famous for their amusement rides and bumper cars. |

That is as much the rule as the exception, I'm afraid |
