By the way, CRX Del Sol or just Del Sol? Or it depends on the versions? We have few "Del Sol" listed without "CRX" (from US movies), and in my street (in Belgium) there is often a similar car with just written on it "CRX", without "Del Sol", thought it is the same kind of targa-convertible than the Del Sol listed here on the site... |

In the US it is called a Civic Del Sol(with only the Del Sol badged on the car) In other countries such as Japan it is called a Civic CRX Del Sol. |

It was called CRX in Europe (even if early models had a Civic sticked on the back), only Germany got a limited edition called "Del Sol" in 1994. In Australia too it was called CRX and no Del Sol. Some people in Europe, generally young tuners influenced by F&F movie, tend to call their car Del Sol. Which also help to differenciate cars between each others. |
