NG or SK? Maybe the differences are not that easy on locally built models... (Cf. comments in /vehicle.php?id=248493 ) |

What are the round green signs on the bumper? I have a feeling that they're a German thing. |

The only one I know is 'L', which stands for Lärmreduziert, noise reduced. I've seen 'S' on a Latvian truck and 'U' on a Turkish, but I'd really like to know what they stand for. I'm not sure but I think they are an Austrian thing, not German. |

Origin of "L" are indeed Austrian and yes, it stands for the low level of noise (acc. to some criteria). "U" means that truck fits to limits of the exhaust emission from the early 1990's (Euro 1 or highier) and to noise limits of "L". This is SK from 1994. |
