I'm 300 miles away from my Standard Catalog at the moment so can't check, but I think it has entries for US Simcas from about 1954 for the earlier ugly Aronde, then this prettier generation, followed by the 60s stuff we're more familiar with. |

According to the two guides that I have, they sold two versions of the Aronde in 1959. The brochure I shared was the old version. And then the new one arrived mid-1959. Looking better, I realise that this is actually a hardtop and not a sedan - so a Monaco (which used Montlhéry trim). |
