First officially imported (by Regent Motors) 30 cars arrived to Australia mid November 1953 for evaluation tests. Weren't sold for public. Australian CKD assembly began January 1954. First showed March 1954 on Melbourne Motor Show and the sales began then. So, 1954 was first MY on Australian market. |
